14-09-2024 – Zomato GST Notice News – Zomato goes in court against West Bengal Court on demand of 5.60 crore rupees GST
The West Bengal government has recently sent a notice to Zomato for GST of Rs 3.69 crore between April 2019 and March 2020, in response to which Zomato has said that it will appeal against it in the court.
The West Bengal government has demanded a total of ₹5,59,51,319 from Zomato, in which, apart from ₹3.69 crore, ₹3,69,67,792 as bye-payment and ₹55,95,432 as penalty has been asked to be paid. After totaling, the total amount comes to ₹9.85 crore.
